Anyone that knows me will know that I have a huge sweet tooth so when I was contacted by Chummys Bakery to review some of their brownies, I absolutely jumped at the chance. Chummys are one of the UK market leaders in baked gifts, sending delicious treats throughout the UK. Their range includes cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more.
My brownie delivery arrived beautifully packaged in an eco-friendly box wrapped in greaseproof paper and tied up with string. I could smell that amazing baked goods scent as I opened the box. I received a box of six different brownies to try. I always think it's a bonus when you can order from the comfort of your own home and receive the delivery through the door. It's a great gift idea for a loved one or family member too.
I received a box of six brownies including Salted Caramel, Lotus Biscuit, Ferrero Rocher, Triple Chocolate, Nutella and Kinder Bueno. The box came with instructions on how to best store the brownies including information on freezing them if you can't eat them all at once (not a problem in my household!) Chummys also recommend warming the brownies up for 10-20 seconds and I can confirm this is the BEST way to eat them.
I would go as far as saying these are some of the best brownies I have ever eaten. The perfect consistency with a slight crunch to the outside but warm gooey middle is the absolute dream pairing. The flavours were incredible and I am intrigued to try out some of their other flavours and their cookie selection too. A box of 6 retails at around £15.50 but you can save money by subscribing.
